This time, according to the Chairman of the Standing Committee on the Budget, Pyotr Kudryashov, amendments have been proposed to reduce tax rates.
“The proposed option was agreed upon by the commission with both the tax service and the government. They are minimal. We propose to reduce rates once again on certain points,” Kudryashov said.
The first vote for Kudryashov’s amendments was failed - only 38 people voted “for”. A long-standing trick immediately arose - to “re-vote” a question because a button did not work, which caused discontent among some deputies.
Deputy Gennady Basov from the Russian Bloc pointed out a violation of the session regulations. “Since when did we start re-voting based on words? In accordance with the regulations, it is necessary to submit an application and then re-vote the issue,” Basov said.
However, the leadership of the legislative assembly chose to ignore the remark. As a result, the law on patent taxation received the required 40 votes and was adopted in the first reading.
Let us remind you that the law sets the cost of a patent at a rate of 6% of the potential annual income of an entrepreneur, depending on the type of activity.
