This was reported in the military unit, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports with reference to the military prosecutor's office.
As it became known, a 21-year-old contract soldier from the Volyn region, during a shift in duty, handled the weapon carelessly (reloaded it) and accidentally shot a colleague from the Kyiv region, born in 1994.
The event occurred on October 30 at about 3 o'clock. The 23-year-old fighter died on the spot, a resident of Volyn was detained.
An internal audit is currently underway in the Zaporizhzhya military unit.
