Due to the difficult socio-political situation in Ukraine, Mayor Alexander Sin and the Zaporozhye City Council of Veterans decided to refuse to hold a festive procession along Lenin Avenue, a rally on Lenin Square and a festive concert on the Alley of Labor Glory in Zaporozhye on May 9.
This was reported by the press service of the City Council. Citizens are asked to limit themselves to the ceremonial laying of flowers on the Alley of Military Glory and festivities in city parks.
As Navigator reported, the Kharkov authorities had previously refused to hold the parade. In Lviv, the laying of flowers will be carried out according to the “European style” on May 8.
