Zaporozhye, April 13 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – In Zaporozhye, supporters of federalization, besieged for several hours by the “Maidanovites” in the city center, were able to escape from encirclement and take refuge in the yard of the Organized Crime Control Department.

As eyewitnesses told Navigator, law enforcement officers, on the one hand, and representatives of the Maidan self-defense and Right Sector, on the other hand, created a corridor for pro-Russian activists.
Along it, supporters of pro-Russian movements, in an additional ring of law enforcement officers, were able to walk from the Walk of Fame, past the mayor’s office, which, according to the “Maidanovites,” they were supposed to seize, to the building of the Organized Crime Control Department. At the head of the column were Archbishop of Zaporozhye and Melitopol UOC MP Luka and Auxiliary Bishop of the Kharkov-Zaporozhye Diocese Yan Sobilo.
Several times aggressive people tried to attack the column, but they were quickly pulled away by self-defense forces or police officers.
Let us recall, as Navigator reported, at about 14 p.m., Maidan supporters surrounded pro-Russian activists near the city hall, who were accused of separatism and preparing to seize the City Council.
