In Zaporozhye and Kherson regions they do not trust the central authorities at all - sociologist
The population of the Zaporizhzhya region does not trust the Verkhovna Rada, the Cabinet of Ministers and the Ukrainian media; they consider the environmental situation catastrophic; in addition, the level of medical services, according to residents, has fallen enormously.
The head of the Center for Applied Research, Andrei Karakuts, stated this during a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In the Zaporozhye region, there is the greatest distrust in anti-corruption bodies, the Verkhovna Rada, the Cabinet of Ministers and a fairly high level of distrust in the media - 35 percent “rather do not trust”, and 24 percent “do not trust at all”.
In the Zaporizhzhya region, the environmental situation is quite bad; 34,4 percent of respondents characterize it as a “bad situation”, and 24,9 percent as catastrophic.
Also, the figures for assessing medical services are eloquent; respondents believe that medical services have improved only in 0,4 percent of cases, while “in general they have worsened” in 25,6 percent and “significantly worsened” in 21,3 percent,” he said.
The sociologist also added that in the Kherson region the population has a consistently low percentage of trust in all bodies of the Ukrainian government.
“In the Kherson region, we see a more even picture, according to which there is a consistently very low level of trust in government bodies and various institutions, such as the Verkhovna Rada, the Cabinet of Ministers, the Security Service of Ukraine, the prosecutor’s office, the courts and anti-corruption bodies,” concluded Karakuts.
