In the Zaporozhye region, the defense line is only half ready

“So far I can say that of the 22 planned engineering fortifications, half have already been built. I plan to visit these sites in the near future,” said the Chairman of the Zaporozhye Regional State Administration Valery Baranov.
According to the governor, the construction of engineering defensive structures is now being completed in the settlements of Grigoryevka and Novoaleksandrovka in the Zaporozhye district, in Matveevka in the Volnyansky district, as well as in the Rozovsky district. In the Berdyansk region, work has already been completed.
The head of the region also outlined the problems that had to be encountered during the installation of defense facilities: “One of the most important problems is the lack of lighting. We are now purchasing lanterns. In addition, we need wood and granulated slag, which will be provided to us by Zaporizhstal.
Baranov also noted that, in fact, all the constructed facilities constitute the defensive line of Zaporozhye and the entire region.
