In the Zaporozhye region, 40 grenades were found in a train carriage
In the Bilmatsky district of the Zaporozhye region, police seized 40 grenades in a freight car with porcelain clay, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the communications department of the National Police in the Zaporozhye region.
“The police seized 27 F-1 grenade casings, 44 UZRGM fuses, 13 RGD-5 grenade casings, 1080 rounds of 5,45 mm caliber, two RGD-2B smoke bombs. Everything seized was sent for study to the Zaporozhye Scientific Research Forensic Center,” the statement says.
As noted, employees of the Bilmatsky police department, together with employees of the Kamysh-Zarya station, found ammunition in a freight car of a train that transports porcelain clay.
Employees of the explosives department of the police in the Zaporozhye region were called to the scene.
Also, the Main Directorate of the NPU in the Zaporizhzhya region recalled that on August 3, during a search of a household at the place of residence of a man born in 1993, in the Melitopol region, police discovered and seized 223 large-caliber cartridges of various diameters; 4 main engines PG-9; 2 VOG-17 grenades; 2 artillery demolitions; fuse PG-7; 1 UZRGM. All ammunition had a high level of danger, and therefore they were neutralized at a training ground in the Melitopol region.
