The Zee government openly described the scale of the future cleansing of Donbass
In the event of a hypothetical return of Donbass to its control, Kyiv plans to send specially trained civil servants to the region - teachers, journalists, and even mayors and deputies.
Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Alexey Reznikov said this on Channel 5, indirectly making it clear the scale of the political cleansing in Donetsk and Lugansk, which Kyiv is ready to carry out.
“We must understand that the reintegration of Donbass is a matter of generations, and we need to prepare for it. There must be an understanding of the national perception that we will have to say that we already have a heritage that we will work with.
We need $21 billion just for restoration, this is according to estimates from the Vienna Institute, it was not me or Ukrainian economists who calculated this. This is a huge layer of work, we need to understand this and already prepare people.
Today we are planning to create a center for training people who will go there to exercise Ukrainian power locally after de-occupation. These will be mayors, heads of military-civil administrations, future deputies, teachers and journalists. They have to know how to work with people,” he said.
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier in Kyiv they have repeatedly stated the need to lose the rights of Donbass residents for several years in the event of a possible capture of the LDPR by the Ukrainian army. Supporters of Russia are advised in advance to leave their hometowns under the threat of reprisals; the rest will at least be deprived of the right to participate in elections, find employment in their specialty, etc.
