In Zhytomyr, the SBU searched the house of a journalist and threatens to imprison him for 15 years with confiscation for criticizing the Poroshenko regime

The press center of the Security Service of Ukraine confirmed information about the conduct of investigative actions in Zhitomir and in one of the settlements near the regional center. The journalist is charged with “actively publishing anti-Ukrainian materials and commenting on events in Ukraine for the Russian media.”
“Currently, investigative actions are being carried out against one of the bloggers, against whom criminal proceedings have been opened. As soon as they are over, we will definitely inform you about the details,” Irina Martynyuk, press secretary of the regional department of the SBU, said in a commentary to Zhitomir Info.
The pre-trial investigation is currently ongoing, which is being conducted by the investigative department of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Zhytomyr region. Muravitsky faces a sentence of up to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.
Interestingly, in 2011 Vasily Muravitsky received an award from the city authorities of Zhytomyr for XNUMXst place in the “Journalist of the Year” competition (nomination “Best Journalist of Print and Electronic Media.”
