In Kramatorsk, SBU officers detained the deputy head of the district administration (RGA) and an official of the Kramatorsk City Council, reasonably suspected of receiving a bribe, the SBU press service reported.
High-ranking local civil servants demanded remuneration from the businessman, who received about a million hryvnia from the state treasury for the preparation of project documentation for measures to restore the infrastructure of Donbass in the ATO zone.
The rollback amounted to exactly half of the budget amount – 410 thousand hryvnia. Most of it was found during a search in the office of the deputy head of the Regional State Administration, another 75 thousand hryvnia was found in the office of a city council official.
