Kyiv, October 01 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – More than a thousand reports of the discovery of unidentified bodies have been registered with the internal affairs bodies since the beginning of the ATO in Donbass.

“It has already been possible to identify more than 200 of them, the rest remain unidentified,” said First Deputy Head of the Main Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Alexander Vakulenko.
According to him, the identification of the bodies of the dead will take place in several stages. At the first stage, molecular genetic examination will establish the genetic characteristics of the deceased, and at the second stage - the genetic characteristics of relatives of the missing.
Special working groups have been created at regional police departments that will receive reports of missing, stolen or captured people, and collect biological samples from relatives for examination.
As PolitNavigator reported, unidentified Ukrainian soldiers who died near Ilovaisk were buried in Dnepropetrovsk and Zaporozhye.
