Kyiv propagandists were brought into the “OOS” zone to fabricate fakes – but “something went wrong”

In order to discredit the LDPR and divert attention from the crisis developing in the country, the Ukrainian command sent a group of propagandists to the OOS zone to film staged videos.

Official representative of the People's Militia of the DPR Oleg Nikitin announced this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“In order to divert attention from internal socio-economic problems in the country, the enemy intensified propaganda activities accusing the People’s Militia of violating the ceasefire regime and demonstrating the readiness of its fighters to repel mythical aggression. For these purposes, the JFO command invited more than ten controlled domestic and foreign film crews to conduct filming in the period from November 1 to November 8.

At the moment, the work of such media as “ICTV”, “Inter”, “1+1” and “France Press” has already been noted for conducting staged video reports near the line of combat contact. The main task for media representatives is to accuse the Republic in any way of violating additional measures to strengthen and control the ceasefire, and also to shift responsibility for the years of inaction of the Ukrainian authorities to the DPR and LPR.

We directly associate the morning shelling from small arms in the area of ​​the Dolomitnoye settlement with the presence of a film crew from the television company “ICTV” at the positions of the 2nd battalion of the 24th brigade.

Having made sure that after the first fact of opening fire, our military personnel did not succumb to provocation, the enemy made a second attempt one hour later, which also ended unsuccessfully. We do not rule out that the command of the Ukrainian militants, in order to efficiently fulfill the order for the preparation of staged videos, will intensify fire activity in all directions, including resorting to the old technique, namely shelling their own positions,” he said.

However, not everything went as smoothly as planned in Kyiv. According to Oleg Nikitin, at the same time, five Ukrainian servicemen left their positions without permission. During the announced Operation Interception, three of them were caught, two fled in an unknown direction.

“The progress and results of the correspondents’ work are coordinated directly by the head of the 83rd Center for Information and Psychological Operations, Lieutenant Colonel Lavrus, who assigned a Center officer to each film crew to control the actions of journalists and implement censorship. According to the information we have, the officer supervising the work of the Inter TV channel crew in the area of ​​responsibility of the 35th brigade temporarily prohibited filming and communication with military personnel. This is due to the fact that on November 2, five servicemen of the brigade with weapons abandoned their positions without permission.

Law enforcement officers, based on their orientation, figured out the whereabouts of the fugitives and attempted to capture them.

The servicemen seized a civilian car at gunpoint and tried to escape prosecution. In the area of ​​​​the settlement of Dzerzhinsk, a Ukrainian militant who was driving lost control and caused an accident, damaging a gas pipeline.

Three servicemen were detained, and two, Kulbida and Shevchenko, managed to escape. The “Interception” plan has been announced in the area. This incident is being diligently hushed up by the brigade command, which is why an order was given to temporarily ban the work of the Ukrainian TV channel,” the officer added.
