Another tragedy occurred in the zoo of the Ukrainian Zubkov
Another attack by a predator on a person in the Taigan safari park has become the subject of a law enforcement investigation.
This time, the menagerie employee was unlucky - he was attacked by a jaguar, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the regional department of the Investigative Committee, the incident occurred this afternoon.
“It has been previously established that a worker was injured as a result of a jaguar bite at the Taigan Lion Park this afternoon. The man was taken to a medical facility with wounds to his left forearm, where he is currently receiving emergency care,” the Investigative Committee reported.
Investigators are working at the scene, and based on the results, a procedural decision will be made on compliance with safety requirements in the safari park.
Eyewitnesses say that the man opened the enclosure with the predator in order to feed it, while the rules require this to be done through a special compartment.
Let us remind you that the day before the investigation of the criminal case against the director of the Taigan lion park was completed. Oleg Zubkov is accused of providing services that do not meet safety requirements. A year ago, a young mother climbed over the fence to show her one-year-old baby a closer look at the tiger. The child was in his mother's arms, but grabbed the metal mesh fence. One of the predators caught the child's hand with his claw and bit his thumb. It subsequently had to be amputated.
Earlier, Zubkov announced that the Crimean lion park "Taigan" and the Yalta zoo "Fairy Tale" have appeared only due to the fact that at one time the peninsula was part of Ukraine.
On the air of the Majlis TV channel ATR stated that misses “Ukraine” and considers the anniversary of the referendum on the reunification of Crimea with Russia a “sad date.”
During the Ukrainian period, Zubkov actively supported the leader of “Fatherland” Yulia Tymoshenko, naming the white tigress "Tiger" after her.
