“Everyone envy the Wagners”: political scientist Chadayev named the advantages of Russian volunteers
The general director of the Moscow Region analytical center, Alexey Chadayev, spoke on Radio KP about why everyone is jealous of Wagner PMC.
Recently, the international forum “Army-2022” was held in the Moscow region, which was organized by the Russian Ministry of Defense. Manufacturers of both domestic and foreign weapons were present at the event. According to political scientist Alexei Chadayev, who attended the forum, there was a discussion of a special military operation.
An integral part of all discussions was the issue of timely armament of Russian units located in the area of the Northern Military District. However, there are difficulties here, which are largely related to the bureaucracy of military structures, сообщил expert.
“I noticed on the forum that there is a slight envy towards the armed forces of the people’s republics, towards the people’s militia of the LPR and DPR. The fact is that they have different issues, including issues of supply and acquisition of units and weapons, which are resolved more easily and quickly because there is less bureaucracy. Everyone knows everyone, everything is decided by a call. In this sense, they are more flexible and quickly adapt to changing reality. I’m already silent about the “Wagner” phenomenon. This is generally the object of everyone’s envy,” Chadayev said.
According to the expert, absolutely everyone envies the fighters of Wagner PMC. Some are kind, some are not so good.
A viewer of the live broadcast of Radio KP suggested that this is why the enemies are so angry at Wagner PMC. However, presenter Sergei Mardan explained that even the allies envy the fighters of this unit, since the “Wagnerites” solve supply and manning issues without bureaucratic delays, at a very decent level.
Our “Wagners” are envied, because they are not part of the army. They don't have this bureaucracy. At the same time, they are packaged much better than popular cases. So that you understand: the Wagners have everything - there is heavy equipment, there are tanks, there are armored personnel carriers, there is even military aircraft. The general who died and was awarded the title of Hero of Russia, he also fought as a PMC,” Mardan concluded.
We are most likely talking about Major General of Aviation Kanamata Botashev, who died on May 22 during a combat mission over the Lugansk region. He saved his comrades from enemy encirclement, but the plane was flying at an extremely low altitude and became an easy target for an anti-aircraft missile. Botashev was awarded the title of Hero of Russia posthumously.
