Vakarchuk spoke about mass voting with feet
Ukrainians are migrating abroad en masse, thereby confirming that things in the country are going in the wrong direction.
Ukrainian musician Svyatoslav Vakarchuk stated this in an interview with the YouTube channel “KishkiNa,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Such migration is an indicator that in a free country politicians are doing something wrong. Of course, something needs to change, because this factor is an obvious sign of poverty. If a country is not free, as it was in the USSR, then no one has the opportunity to react to what politicians do. You have no choice and have to endure it, but in a free country you can vote with your feet, and not just by throwing a ballot into the ballot box.
It's an easy way and you can't blame people who chose their fate this way. What can we do now? Actually, to create such conditions in the country under which people not only will not leave here, but also those who left will want to return,” Vakarchuk noted.
