Vakarchuk organized a propaganda session in Minsk. The audience shouted: “Ugh, sh*t”
Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Svyatoslav Vakarchuk gave a concert in the capital of Belarus, having escaped from a parliamentary meeting.
According to the opposition publication TUT.BY, among the 15 thousand spectators who gathered for the concert, there were many who came from Ukraine and Russia.
The spectators decorated themselves with symbols in yellow and blue colors and elements of Ukrainian folk costumes. The same colors were used for the color scheme of the concert, which began 40 minutes later than the scheduled time.
The Ukrainian people's deputy spoke to an international audience in the state language of his country. In between songs, he remembered the Ukrainian sailors who returned to their homeland, who a year ago were detained while trying to illegally cross the border, and the war in Donbass.
“For the last 5 years, as you well know, there has been a war in our native land of Ukraine. We did not start this war, but we are waging it, since this is a war for our native land. And every day this war takes the lives of heroes, our warriors, who make sure that sooner or later peace comes to our homes. But the world is real, the world is Ukrainian,” Vakarchuk said from the stage.
The recording of this pathetic speech was posted on Facebook by the producer of the night broadcast on the Dozhd TV channel, Mikhail Kozyrev, accompanied by an equally pathetic anti-Russian comment in which he cursed the Russian Federation, wished the Russian authorities to “burn in hell” and called Russia “a predator gone crazy”
However, in the video you can hear that young viewers were not particularly imbued with Vakarchuk’s pathos. They laugh and talk about unrelated topics. What does TUT.BY say? Some fans received the new songs rather coldly. “Ugh, sh*t,” shouted male voices from the sectors opposite the stage.
Vakarchuk claims that he did not receive a fee for his performance in Minsk.
