The liquidation of the state of Ukraine as a result of the consensus of world players is a real scenario, admitted the lead singer of the Okean Elzy group Svyatoslav Vakarchuk during a speech at a youth forum organized by oligarch Viktor Pinchuk.

“Ukraine, unfortunately, is often not a subject of international activity. And it becomes an object of international politics. And sometimes - chess games, battles and competitions of other countries. If we continue to live like this, at some point these players will decide our fate without us. The destruction of the Soviet infrastructure, which is almost over, the absolutely total distrust of people in power and, most importantly, the injustice reigning in society - they all increase the chance of a real loss of Ukrainian statehood. And this scenario, unfortunately, is also possible,” Vakarchuk said, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The musician also admitted that in the third year after Euromaidan, “the vast majority of the Ukrainian population is gradually getting poorer and poorer, and a very small part of the population is rapidly getting richer and richer.”
