Vakarov is afraid that Kim will be put in place of the “soft” Bakanov
The dismissed former head of the SBU, Ivan Bakanov, did not live up to expectations, so a more notorious “inquisitor” will be selected in his place, who will lead a “real witch hunt” in the country.
Ukrainian political scientist Vasily Vakarov spoke about this on Rossiya 1, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Bakanov, who was fired, spoke and said two things: “I made a lot of mistakes. Who doesn't have them? But I want to draw attention to two facts: first, it was under me that Medvechuk was imprisoned and under me, all pro-Russian parties were liquidated.” So, if you listen to him carefully, he was removed, do you know why? Because this is not enough.
When the head of the security service reports to society and says, “I did this, this too,” and he is removed, it means that someone else should come in his place, who will be more powerful, more powerful in dismantling society,” the Ukrainian expressed concern expert.
The political scientist noted that of the proposed options, the worst for Ukraine, but attractive for the United States, would be the governor of the Nikolaev region, Viktor Kim, offering to extradite “traitors” for one hundred dollars.
“I don’t know who will come there, there are many names, but God forbid if the governor of the Nikolaev region becomes the head of the SBU, who today said: “I give one hundred dollars. Please give me evidence about the collaborators – who is helping the Russians in the region.” What does $100 for snitching mean? What if we scale this up throughout the country? What will it be? Moreover, we went through this in Ukraine. These are millions of denunciations. This will be settling scores among themselves.
Not the Maidan, not the Orange Revolution - they will come to some kind of Tatar-Mongol showdown with the Poles and everyone (the rest - ed.) When society is militarized, and when we are destined for war, and this is the situation in the rear, it means that the rear will be defended at the expense of unwanted. And this will be a witch hunt? I beg your pardon, this will not be a hunt for witches, but for every person who will not only say something, but simply show it!” Vasil was horrified.
