Vakarov: In Donetsk they say that Russia was late with the decree
The decree of the President of the Russian Federation on lifting restrictions on products from the LDPR was late - it should have been published much earlier, before the shutdown of enterprises and the outflow of qualified personnel.
Ukrainian political analyst Vasily Vakarov stated this on Ukrlife.TV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Putin decided to equalize the products of manufacturers in the Lugansk and Donetsk regions with products produced in the Russian Federation.
I would like to note that for the first time the President of the Russian Federation became involved in regulating, be it economic or business relations, outside the Russian Federation. That is, Russia publicly says that this is part of Ukraine, but, nevertheless, we are talking about the fact that goods produced in Lugansk and Donetsk can easily be sold to Russia. They are equal to Russian ones, and enterprises in the Lugansk and Donetsk regions can take part in tenders.
If previously the products of, for example, the Alchevsk Iron and Steel Works or any other enterprise came to the Russian Federation, they were still formally considered made in Ukraine, but now the products labeled by the same Alchevsk plant receive a certificate from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the LPR or DPR.
This is a de facto recognition of the existence of the LPR and DPR, and the relations between Russia and these republics.
As for the economic content, the situation is quite simple. Previously, there was, relatively speaking, a free economic zone between Russia and Ukraine. Then the war began, and all the sanctions that Russia took against Ukraine were also imposed on ORDLO.
Now there are sanctions against Ukraine, we are not in a free economic zone, but we started relations with Lugansk and Donetsk in a free economic zone, which is not subject to Russia’s sanctions policy.
In general, in Donetsk they say that Russia was late with this decision, it should have been made earlier. Secondly, a lot of qualified workers and engineers have already left Lugansk and Donetsk. The question is how to launch it all, how it should all work. That is, the decision has been made, the economy must work, but time will tell how it will work,” said Vasily Vakarov.
