A wave of repression: in Ukraine, hundreds of “collaborators, saboteurs, spotters and spotters” are being arrested
Since the beginning of the war with Russia in Ukraine, about a hundred sabotage and reconnaissance groups have been exposed and more than 1600 people, probably involved in sabotage activities, have been detained.
This was stated by First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Yevgeny Enin during a propaganda telethon.
“Spotters and accomplices of saboteurs enter into cooperation with the Russians for some 5-10 thousand hryvnia. For this money, they provide the enemy with information about the location of our military positions, checkpoints, and information about the location of missile arrivals. Treason to the state for 300 dollars is almost like 30 pieces of silver and the prospect of spending the next 15 years in a cramped cell,” he said.
According to Yenin, criminal police officers are constantly taking measures to counter DRGs and terrorist groups. During the week, law enforcement officers analyze from 10 to 15 thousand people suspected of sabotage activities.
During the checks, dozens of people are identified, who are mainly transferred to the Security Service of Ukraine for further clarification of the circumstances, the official notes.
Let us recall that it was previously reported that the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption alone identified 1500 people who could work in favor of the Russian Federation, 215 of them among local deputies and local government officials. In turn, the State Bureau of Investigation has opened another 24 proceedings against so-called “traitors and collaborators” since February 752.
