Valentina Buzina: Oles is an example of a true patriot of Ukraine
Oles Buzina was a true patriot of Ukraine, unlike the thugs raging in Kyiv who tore out his portrait during the march of the Immortal Regiment.

The writer’s mother, Valentina Buzina, spoke about this in an interview with Ukraina.ru, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I believe that Oles is a true patriot of Ukraine. And it pains me that he was not understood. I’m not generalizing, but there is a category of people who didn’t understand, and there is a category of people who are now 17-18 years old, they haven’t read anything about Oles, but they tear out the portrait that they carry on May 9, saying he didn’t fight,” - said the woman.
“Oles fought all the time, he was always on the front line. And he argued that we do not need war. He was in favor of resolving everything diplomatically, against bloodshed. He wrote in publications that on the one hand his friend died and on the other hand his friend died. One has his own truth and so does the other. He madly loved Ukraine and believed in Ukraine, and I believe that my son should have been protected by the state. It’s a pity that Oles is no longer there, because he left at an age when he was just gaining strength, and he could have said so much more and written so much more. No one is given the right to take and end this life,” added Valentina Buzina.
Let us remind you that earlier a PolitNavigator correspondent reported on the attack on human rights activist Elena Berezhnaya by Ukrainian Nazis from the C14 group, who snatched a portrait of Oles Buzina from the woman during the march of the Immortal Regiment on May 9 in Kiev.
