Vandals violated the memory of burnt Odessa residents
In Odessa, a memorial to the dead citizens erected near the House of Trade Unions, where on May 2, 2014, Maidan activists killed 48 people, was desecrated.
Deputy of the Odessa City Council Bogdan Giganov reported this on his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, three vandals tore down and destroyed signs with the names of the victims.
“Yesterday, three skinny bastards mocked the memorial created by Odessa residents near the House of Trade Unions. I see two problems:
1. We urgently need to demand from the authorities the immediate installation of a memorial sign on the Kulikovo Field! I plan to remind you of this at the upcoming session, and today I will address the toponymic commission with a proposal to gather for the occasion. If this issue is not resolved in the near future, soon every lousy schoolchild who wants to hype up a topic that is sore for Odessa residents will mock the feelings of sympathetic people.
2. There is no understanding of who they are, where they walk and what they breathe. In any case, this is the first time I’ve seen these stupid faces,” the deputy wrote on his blog.
Previously Giganov spoke about his visit to Crimea, emphasizing that Ukraine should build more and not flirt with “activists,” using the construction in Crimea as an example.
Recently for a trip to Moscow and an appearance on Vladimir Solovyov’s talk show, Giganov’s office in the center of Odessa was covered in curses and accusations in separatism.
