Bartholomew expelled Poroshenko from the bosom of the church
The decision of the Patriarch of Constantinople to create a new church from schismatics of the so-called “Kyiv Patriarchate” contradicts the provisions of the Council of Chalcedon, held in 451.
Political consultant Anatoly Wasserman stated this on the NewsFront YouTube channel.
“This was the fourth Ecumenical Council. In particular, he established that disputes about the transfer of dioceses from one subordination to another can last no more than 30 years. If no claims have been made in 30 years, then they are not subject to consideration in the future,” Wasserman said.
He believes that “the Istanbul Synod, as having violated the resolution of the Ecumenical Council, cannot be considered Orthodox.”
“Everyone who participated in this decision has cast themselves out of the church. All further decisions of Dimitrios Archondonis (Barphlomeus) are legally void. This also applies to his decision to lift the anathema from Filaret. Anyone who accepts these decisions casts himself out of the church. This also applies to Petro Poroshenko,” Wasserman said.
