Bartholomew wants to deceive Poroshenko and eliminate Filaret
The Patriarchate of Constantinople is not going to give autocephaly to Ukraine, but plans to make it an exarchate.
Political scientist Rostislav Ishchenko stated this on the air of the Vesti FM radio station.
“Constantinople wants to steal Ukrainian parishes from the Russian Orthodox Church, but does not want to give them to Philaret. Bartholomew didn’t hire him to pull chestnuts out of the fire,” Ishchenko said.
He also predicts that the head of the “Kyiv Patriarchate” Filaret may die in the near future.
“He is a strong old man, but he may die untimely. He does not want to become a metropolitan, and Constantinople does not need another patriarch there. These guys, given their connections with the Vatican and the CIA, have tried and tested methods for a long time. More than one church hierarch, including popes, suddenly died for completely natural reasons,” the expert recalled.
