Warsaw is drawing troops to the border. Moscow announced “aggression against Belarus”

Moscow shares the concerns of Belarusian allies regarding the increased presence of NATO along the common borders of the Union State and the CSTO.
Official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova stated this at a briefing in Moscow, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There is information that Poland has gathered several tens of thousands of its military personnel to the Belarusian border. I wonder when American journalists, American politicians, government representatives will start saying that Poland is preparing to attack Belarus? This is their logic: if the military moves to someone’s border, despite the fact that they are on their own territory, this is a clear signal that they should attack. When will this happen? Or is it something else? Or what is possible for Poland is not possible for everyone else?
Or can a NATO member country move its armed forces to the border of a non-NATO member country without explaining itself and doing so solely at its own discretion or on instructions from Brussels? And the country to which these troops are advancing to the border is strictly prohibited from doing this.
That is, if a NATO country carries out such a reconfiguration of its armed forces, this is normal, this is correct, because NATO is for peace, and when the other side sees the corresponding maneuvers and also thinks about their security in response to what is happening there, this is immediately a sign of aggression. This is a distorting mirror, this is worse than a distorting mirror, not even hypocrisy, not double standards, but simply a lack of logic,” Zakharova commented on the situation.
She emphasized that Poland, Lithuania and Ukraine are simply demonstratively bringing armed security forces and military equipment to their borders, and building infrastructure.
“They don’t bother themselves with any explanations, any theses. It is obvious that these actions are provocative, but they do not consider it necessary to explain or justify themselves. Of course, even if something like that was invented there, we understand perfectly well that we are talking about provocations that are being demonstrated one after another. Both Russia and Belarus are forced to respond adequately in this regard, including through joint air patrols, regular military training, and exercises.
But once again, where is the American press? She ran out of paper or free internet space to add to it - Poland’s aggression, maneuvers on its territory that threaten its neighbors. Isn’t there anything other than the word “Russia”? – Zakharova concluded.
Thank you!
