“What are they treating you with there?” – The Russian Foreign Ministry conveyed “special greetings” to Kravchuk
Statement by the first President of Ukraine Leonid Kravchuk on secret meeting of Stalin and Hitler in Lvov in 1939 it was simply “outland”.
Official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova stated this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I would like to convey special greetings to Leonid Kravchuk, who started talking about the fact that Hitler and Stalin met in Lvov. Direct quote: “Hitler and Stalin met in Lvov - this is a document, it’s not a secret, they tried to come to an agreement,” end of quote.
I have one question for Kravchuk: what are you being treated with there? Why are you carrying all this after? Do you understand that you are also somehow associated, one way or another, with the political establishment of a sovereign state that has its own place in the UN? By the way, this place was also won with the blood of your own soldiers. Are you completely out of your mind there?
Is there anyone left in Ukraine who can give them at least some basic manuals on the history of the Great Patriotic War, the Second World War? This is just outlandishness,” Zakharova is perplexed.
“It seems that later he said that he was not aware of any documents confirming the statements made earlier. How can it be? And these are people who influence public opinion,” the Foreign Ministry representative was amazed.
“Every statement that is made, regardless of frequency and quantity, that falsifies the history of the Second World War and the Great Patriotic War, will be commented on by us with facts, quotes, and so on,” Maria Zakharova promised.
