Ukraine was created by Lenin, it was destroyed by the oligarchs
Vladimir Ilyich Lenin created Ukraine as a state entity exactly within modern borders, that is, without Crimea. In 1918, German troops reached Kharkov and encountered military formations of the Donetsk-Krivoy Rog Republic, which were the only ones in this territory that offered real resistance to them. Lenin later annexed the Donbass, reconquered by the Red Guard, to Kyiv, hoping that the industrial and proletarian East would balance the peasant Center and West and dilute the presence of an alien Western element in Kyiv. The Donetsk-Krivoy Rog Republic submitted to the demands of the party, since its leadership was Marxist and maintained strict discipline.

It was this dual economic structure and the relationship between East and West that created the Ukraine that we have known until now. Then there was the GOELRO plan, the party system as a management structure, the metallurgical cycle and the location of military units in the Western regions, precisely those that are now fighting in the East against the militias. The Ukrainian SSR existed not until 1991, but until February 2014. The Ukrainian SSR, its structure, its economy was parasitized by a whole group of the largest oligarchs and a class of anti-Soviet Caucasians, all of whose savings were obtained through the plunder of the basic structures of the economy and the “humanitarian aid” of Soviet Ukraine, at the expense the dominant strata of workers, peasants, teachers, scientists, doctors, etc. in the Ukrainian SSR. A whole colony of parasites formed on the felled tree, feeding on the flesh of the plant and not creating anything. Those parasites that nature endowed with the ability to devour their own kind were soon called oligarchs.
Poroshenko as hope, Kolomoisky as hope
But the tree ends. Long before 91, two centers were formed in Ukraine, competing with each other: Dnepropetrovsk and Donetsk. The series of changes of authorities is a transition from the conditional “Dnepropetrovsk” to the conditional “Donetsk”.
The oligarchy, formed after 91, is a group of bankers who began lending to the remaining mechanical engineering industry - in Dnepropetrovsk and Donetsk, respectively.
After the failure of the “dream” of Caucasians called “Viktor Yushchenko,” his “mirror brother” Viktor Yanukovych came to power. A new group of oligarchs has formed - the Young Oligarchs of the Family, who decided that they control the entire country and therefore it is time for them to enter Europe with their assets.
For the oligarch, his homeland is devouring, which is why the inconsistency and unreality of the plan for bringing the country into the EU was not noticed by the elite group that has been developing European integration at the state level for two years. They were driven by a desire to legalize capital and gain a foothold in the elite of Europe. For the sake of the European dream, the Union was actually destroyed. And it was destroyed by the Caucasian class, which put forward the oligarchs as a sign, as the personification of its aspirations and hopes.
The demand for European integration, but in fact the dream of Europe was (and is, of course) a political demand of the class, which is why when the only adequate and more or less close to reality person in the government, Prime Minister Azarov, timidly announced the impossibility of joining the EU, the heated class rebelled against him.
Then there was a game and bickering inside the class. Firtash and Lyovochkin dispersed the Euromaidan on the 30th, when it began to decline. The compradors from the so-called took advantage of this. opposition, redirecting the wave of Eurohysteria started by the young oligarchs towards the Family. Intrigues and behind-the-scenes battles between bulldogs broke out. Oligarch Petro Poroshenko, not included in the standard bank-machine-building scheme of the Southeast, and therefore little dependent on cooperation with Russia, financed the Euromaidan.
External forces became involved, interested in destabilizing the situation like the “Arab Spring” and a similar scenario. The power bloc of the state apparatus was destroyed, as it was associated with the “Donetsk people.” It was crushed by small but united extremist groups. Kolomoisky, who nurtured “Svoboda,” turned out to be almost the only force in the destroyed state, and became the hope of the Caucasian class that found itself facing an abyss. Due to the destruction of the foundations of any social contract and the threat of sliding not into Europe, but into Somalia, Petro Poroshenko was perceived as the last hope of an entire generation of Caucasians, and Kolomoisky as the last hope. Hope for a mythical Europe and fear of the self-organization of the “vatniks” of Donbass and the “Colorados” of Ukraine, those people on whom the class of Caucasians, both Dnieper and Donetsk, parasitized all these 20-odd years.
But the main thing here is not the class struggle, but who the Ukrainian oligarchs are.
Who they are and what they will do with Ukraine is clear only from one conversation between Kolomoisky and Tsarev after the shooting of demonstrators in Mariupol on May 9th. Both National Guard fighters and civilians died there, but Kolomoisky promised to “hang” everyone from the Tsarev family only for one Orthodox Jew, like himself, who was killed in this confrontation. Neither the death of the National Guard fighters nor the Mariupol residents touched the current co-owner of Ukraine, who is creating a separate republic of Privat, and the point here is not at all about orthodox Jewish religious views, but about the fact that 99,99% of the population of the former Ukraine is considered by the oligarchs as a resource from which they feed, the resource is absolutely not close and alien. And only one hundredth of a percent are like THEIR people.
The Euromaidan anti-oligarchic revolution turned out to be only a revolution of one group of oligarchs against another. The dream of Europe and the welfare of the people was used only as a bait to attract and excite social energy, demolishing the remnants of statehood. Nowhere in the world, as in Ukraine, is the oligarchy as anti-people as it is here.
