Vasily Volga: Kadyrov concretized Peskov’s words about the liquidation of Ukrainian statehood
Speaking about the possibility of annexing Ukraine to Russia, Ramzan Kadyrov is simply developing the idea of the possibility of ending Ukrainian statehood, previously voiced by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, Dmitry Peskov.
The founder of the Union of Left Forces party, Vasily Volga, stated this in a comment to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“We shouldn’t take Kadyrov’s statements too seriously. He is a dashing guy, he thinks within his own paradigm. In the same way, there is no need to take Lukashenko’s statements seriously.
But one cannot help but notice that this statement by Kadyrov came after the statement of Peskov himself, who just yesterday answered questions from journalists. When he was asked the question of what will happen if Kyiv nevertheless goes on an attack on the LDPR (the United States is seriously worried about what will happen if we give Kyiv intelligence - the Ukrainian Armed Forces may go on the LDPR).
Peskov then said that this would raise the question of the existence of Ukrainian statehood in general. He thereby made it clear that anything is possible. And Kadyrov simply develops this idea, although, of course, just in a somewhat isolated form. He simply makes it more specific, saying that Ukrainian statehood will be eliminated, and Ukraine can be annexed to the Russian Federation militarily,” concluded Vasily Volga.
