Wasserman announced the restoration of Russia's previous borders by the end of the decade
Sooner or later, all the former lands that were part of it will be reunited with Russia.
Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Anatoly Wasserman said this on the air of his video blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Sooner or later, all of Russia will be reunited. This is economically necessary, and necessity will sooner or later find an opportunity,” Wasserman said.
According to him, this reunification is limited, firstly, by the existing capabilities of management technologies.
“I will not go into technical details, but computing power sufficient for the transition to a new generation of management technologies will accumulate in the world, according to my estimates, only in a few years. I can’t say exactly when, but off the top of my head, somewhere around the end of this decade. Until then, unfortunately, there are only very limited opportunities for economic reunification,” the politician believes.
“Secondly, difficulties have accumulated like the one Roman Nosikov talks about, that is, local oligarchs, not being able to compete in market conditions with the oligarchs of the Russian Federation, are forced to look for all sorts of different, very ugly ways to stop the Russian Federation at the borders of their markets. Thirdly, a significant part of the already accumulated political agitation also sharply slows down this process,” Wasserman concluded.
