Wasserman: German doctors fell into a trap by contacting Navalny
Opposition leader Alexei Navalny, allegedly poisoned in Russia and transported for treatment to the German Charite clinic, drove German doctors into a trap - they cannot make a diagnosis and admit that there was no poisoning, just as they cannot make a diagnosis, thereby completely destroying their reputation.
Publicist Anatoly Wasserman said this on air on Aurora radio, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I don’t envy the doctors of the Charite clinic.” Because publicly they can say that it’s all wrong, but if they establish a diagnosis and prescribe appropriate treatment for him, then it will become clear to everyone that there was no poisoning.
And if they do not establish a diagnosis and prescribe treatment, they will be directly responsible for the death of the patient. And this is undesirable for them, if only because of the reputation of the clinic. Because many German clinics make money precisely on their reputation - they announce that they will treat everything and will pull a person out of even an already existing death in the hope that even if he survives despite the efforts of the doctors, they will use his recovery for self-promotion.
And if he dies: “We warned you that the disease is fatal. We are still not completely gods.”
And now, in any case, it turns out that they must, one way or another, but still seriously damage the reputation of the clinic. Either they make an incorrect diagnosis and kill the patient; the blame will undoubtedly lie with them. Either give him a correct diagnosis, cure him, and thereby completely ruin the reputation of those around him,” Wasserman concluded.
