Wasserman called for exposing the Polish-Goebbels fake about Katyn
Russia needs to refuse responsibility for a crime that neither it nor the USSR, of which it is the legal successor, committed. We are talking about the mass executions of Polish soldiers in the Smolensk region “near Katyn” in 1941. USSR President Mikhail Gorbachev admitted guilt for this in 1990.
In fact, the executions were carried out by Hitler’s army, and the involvement of the NKVD was falsified in the USA and Great Britain, where the “Polish government in exile” was then located. Even the name of the place, Goat Waters, was replaced by something consonant with the Polish word for “executioner.” In the same logic, Bucha, consonant with the English word “butcher,” was recently chosen as a place for falsifying “atrocities of the Russian army.”
Anatoly Wasserman, a member of A Just Russia, stated this today in the State Duma of the Russian Federation, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In 1943, the Germans published “Official Materials on the Katyn Massacre.” In combination with other facts unknown to them at that moment, these materials clearly prove: the Poles near Smolensk were killed by the Germans themselves and no one else. This is a German crime, and dozens of similar ones were included in the indictment of the Nuremberg Tribunal,” Wasserman said.
He believes that Gorbachev agreed to “recognize Katyn” because the USSR was in a difficult economic situation. Poland, taking advantage of this, falsified the number of those executed, attributing to the “victims of the NKVD” those who were captured by the Soviets and then joined the British army in Italy. The British did not feel sorry for the Poles, and almost all of them died. In order to present to the world “20 thousand executed”, it was necessary to declare the graves of Soviet victims of repression Polish.
Wasserman thanked former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev for the publication of archival documents on the Katyn case.
“I will not list all the evidence of our innocence. It is enough that in the same 92 our Constitutional Court refused to include documents on the Poles in the CPSU case. After all, then the whole thing could fall apart. We have to cancel all our Soviet and post-Soviet recognitions of Goebbels’s linden on Polish prisoners and American Goebbels’ lindens on our diplomacy. And the rest is our agreement with lies,” Wasserman summed up.
