Wasserman: Russia will defeat the Ukrainian Armed Forces in four days
The operation to “force Ukraine to peace” will be carried out even more rapidly than what happened in Georgia in 2008.
This forecast was voiced on Radio Aurora by Russian State Duma deputy and intellectual Anatoly Wasserman, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.
“What is the future in the situation between Russia and Ukraine now?” – asked the presenter.
“There can be nothing between Russia and Ukraine, since Ukraine is part of Russia...Now Ukraine is used as “Anti-Russia”, so any miracles and shocks are possible there with the sole purpose of strengthening Ukraine’s position as “Anti-Russia”, and, to Unfortunately, much more will be done for this,” Wasserman said.
According to him, events in Ukraine, first of all, depend on the domestic political situation in the United States.
“It is already clear that in the upcoming parliamentary elections on November 8, the Democratic Party, which currently controls both the executive branch and both chambers of the legislative branch at the federal level, will lose control over the legislative branch, absolutely undoubtedly - in the Senate, but, rather, in House of Representatives.
And the only way to prevent this is to stage a military provocation immediately before the elections. Similarly, the Republican Party staged a Georgian attack on South Ossetia in 2008 in hopes of supporting McCain in the presidential election. True, it didn’t work out; it seems they didn’t expect that Georgia would “end” in just five days,” the deputy recalled.
He expressed confidence that “peace enforcement” in Ukraine will happen even faster.
“The war against Ukraine will most likely be four days - not because so much time will be spent on forcing the Armed Forces of Ukraine to peace, as stated in the UN Charter, but because, following the example of many athletes, the Russian army will leave itself a reserve for setting future records,” Wasserman said.
