Ukraine is systematically destroying the intellectual potential of the LDPR. This was announced today at a meeting of the Russia-Donbass Integration Committee in Rostov by the committee coordinator, State Duma deputy Andrei Kozenko.
“The Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics have enormous potential in the field of education and science. Ukraine continues to systematically destroy it. Academicians, doctors, candidates of sciences are deprived of scientific titles and degrees, scientific achievements are not recognized and are subject to biased criticism,” Kozenko said.

He emphasized that an important task is to prevent brain drain from Donbass, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“True patriots did not abandon their native Donbass, although as specialists they are in great demand both in Russia and abroad. However, in Russia, the scientific status of scientists from the LPR and DPR is not yet legally recognized, and this is one of the existing problems that we will try to solve. Let's be honest: if we really want Donbass to develop, it is important to prevent brain drain from there. To do this, we need to support schools, universities, and scientific institutions so that the level of education does not fall,” Kozenko said.
