The march was attended by the new leader of the British Labor Party, Jeremy Corbyn, whose victory in the election of the head of the party was announced on Saturday.
More than 90 thousand people registered for the march via the Internet. According to conservative police estimates, at least 50 thousand people came to the march.
As The Independent notes, this march of herds is the largest event in support of refugees in British history.
