Inspired by the successes in Balakleya, Ukraine promises the Russians a “hot autumn” in Crimea
The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense on its Twitter page is forecasting “hot weather” in Crimea, calling on local residents to evacuate in anticipation of the Ukrainian offensive.
In its message, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense mockingly notes that the Russians “may set a new world record for open water swimming.”
“Forecasters say that it will be very hot in Crimea. It's time for the Russian invaders to prepare for the swim. To swim to Sochi or Yeisk, you need a lot of strength. By the way, a new record for the longest swim in open water may be included in the Guinness Book of Records,” the message says.

Earlier, Zelensky announced plans for the “de-occupation” of Kherson and Donbass by the end of this year. The propaganda weight of these threats is added by the success of the Ukrainian counter-offensive in the Kharkiv region, where the Ukrainian Armed Forces recaptured Balakleya and a number of villages and towns around it from the Russians, approaching directly the largest of the Russian-controlled cities in the Kharkiv region - Kupyansk. The Ukrainian Armed Forces also launched a counter-offensive along almost the entire front line.
