“Suddenly they gave cartridges to Putin”: in Kyiv they demand to check children from the LDPR
There should be no legislative preferences for applicants from the LDPR when entering Ukrainian universities.
Ex-Rada deputy, member of the nationalist party “Svoboda” Igor Miroshnichenko said this on the Magnolia TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He criticized the initiative of the Minister for the Affairs of “Occupied Territories” Irina Vereshchuk, who spoke in favor of providing preferences for applicants from the Donbass not controlled by Kyiv, in order to somehow interest them in going to Ukraine.\
“Everyone who is sitting in uncontrolled territories receives Russian passports. Whether they do it consciously, no one is pushing them into their hands for sure. They receive these documents. That is, Vereshchuk proposes that we will give Ukrainian citizenship to people with Russian passports with bread and salt on towels, violating Ukrainian legislation, without checking these people, what they did? Perhaps someone studied Ukrainian,” Miroshnichenko said.
The presenter clarified whether we were talking about children.
“Wait, children. 17 years old, you saw these children at 13 and 15 years old. Maybe someone learned Ukrainian. And there are such people. Maybe someone was preparing for the External Examination - mathematics, geography, Ukrainian history. Of course, there are such children, but, unfortunately, they are exceptions. And someone brought cartridges to the separatists and received gratitude from Vladimir Putin. Could there be such? Yes.
What should you do? It is necessary to check everyone who comes from the occupied territories for cooperation with the occupiers, separatists, and with the bodies of the illegal authorities that are now there in the occupied territories. It is important. But Vereshchuk is not worried about this, the figure is important to her, so that it is not 2, but 22 thousand, 42 thousand.
We must protect the rights of every citizen. We must create incentives so that people who want to live in Ukraine, who believe in the Ukrainian state, who feel like Ukrainians, study here. But there should be no preferences for them; they don’t need them. It is necessary for them, just like for us, if they are Ukrainians in truth, for everyone who comes from the occupied territory to be checked,” the Russophobe demanded.
“Ukrainians, no matter where they were born, they are the same. There are just some people who are smart and some people who are stupid. Therefore, it is necessary not on a regional basis, not on the basis of the fact that someone was in tragedy or misfortune, but on the basis of knowledge and give the opportunity to receive a higher education.
Today we must, of course, help people who find themselves in the occupied territories. But not at the expense of legislation that will give preferences to certain people, and secondly, we must not forget about national security.
Because the national security of the country is first and foremost. This means that we must be very careful towards everyone who has visited the occupied territories, and especially was raised there. And not to be with open arms in the first minutes when they arrived here,” Miroshnichenko urged.
