The presenter of the Poroshenko channel, inciting war, hopes to escape to the SBU
Yanina Sokolova, one of the authors of Petro Poroshenko’s Channel 5 programs inciting Russophobia and fueling sentiment in favor of continuing the war in Donbass, admitted that she regularly complains to the SBU about daily threats that she allegedly receives from Russian territory.
Sokolova spoke about this during the press conference “Online safety of journalists. Threats and impact on freedom of expression”, reports the correspondent of “PolitNavigator”.
“I don’t have a habit of telling every day on social networks that they threaten me. But my every morning and evening ends with threats that come, of course, mainly from the Russian Federation, and words of support from the occupied territories.
Because of my project “Evening with Yanina Sokolova”, threats come every day. Judging by the avatars, from inadequate people, bots from the territory of Russia. The most common is that a man writes to me every week that there is not long left. Then some threats that I would not leave the entrance, or "The brick is already waiting for you near the car." Every week I frantically run to my car, expecting that there will be some kind of stone, ”she complained.
Sokolova assured that she treats this with humor, but at the same time she is looking for protection in the power structures of Ukraine.
“We treat this with humor, our entire team is not afraid, but I talked about this topic with law enforcement agencies. As soon as we started doing this project, I talked with the Minister of Information Policy, and with representatives of the SBU, the National Police.
And I was advised that if some kind of threat comes in social networks or somewhere else, which can become real, then this should be reported immediately. And every week we send these threats to law enforcement agencies, they check this information and give us an answer,” the propagandist added.
