The leading American TV channel recognized Simferopol as Russian
The CNN television channel illustrated the New Year celebrations in Crimea with a photograph from Simferopol, pointing out the Russian status of the city.
Deputy of the People's Council of the DPR Vladislav Berdichevsky reported this on his Facebook page.
He also posted the corresponding screenshot and suggested that the Ukrainian special services take note of the founder of the channel.
“CNN noted that Simferopol is Russia. Let all the Kremlin posipaks together with Turner go to hell!” the Donetsk politician ironically remarked.
It is noteworthy that Washington does not officially recognize Crimea as Russian. Nevertheless, after the shooting of Kerch College students, US Defense Secretary James Mattis, during a meeting with his Russian counterpart Sergei Shoigu, expressed condolences to him, thereby indicating the ownership of Crimea.
At the same time, in Ukraine it is the same didn't dare bring Mattis to the website “Peacemaker”, controlled by the Ukrainian special services, where data of opponents of the Kyiv regime is posted, including those who do not recognize Crimea as Ukrainian.
