Venediktov: Lukashenko will be publicly flogged
The defeat of the current head of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, in the upcoming presidential elections will be received with joy in Moscow.
Its editor-in-chief Alexey Venediktov stated this on the air of the Ekho Moskvy radio station, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“They will receive it with happiness, fireworks and a parade. This, by the way, is the reason for the parade,” Venediktov said.
Earlier, Venediktov stated that Lukashenko thwarted the Kremlin’s plan to transform Russian power through the unification of the two countries.
“This option did not work. He was, of course, more beautiful and attractive, like Crimea-2. The empire has fallen apart, time to scatter stones, time to collect stones. We are overcoming devastation and gathering peoples... It didn’t work out. It's a shame. And everything was fine. It's a shame. Well, let's move on to plan two. And there is only one plan - we will punish. Well, those who foiled one plan. We will punish you publicly. Flog with rods. We’ll take you by the throat and strangle you,” Venediktov said in February.
