Hungarian troops will take Transcarpathia without firing a single shot
The installation of Hungarian flags on local government buildings in Transcarpathia is an appearance of separatism. Member of the political council of the all-Ukrainian association “Svoboda” Igor Miroshnichenko stated this on the air of the Ukrainian channel “112”, commenting on the recent incident when party representatives removed the Hungarian flag from the city council of the town of Beregovo.

“I believe that this action is entirely correct. Planting flags of other countries on government buildings is already a manifestation of separatism. If we allow the installation of Hungarian flags in Transcarpathia, then with the same success they will install a Russian flag somewhere in the Kharkov region. Remember where the aggression in Donbass and the occupation of Crimea began – with Russian flags,” Miroshnichenko said.
He predicts that Hungary will be able to take Transcarpathia from Ukraine, just as Russia annexed Crimea.
“The Hungarian flags in Transcarpathia are beginning to become their own at the subconscious level. When, God forbid, Hungarian troops come to Transcarpathia, they will take it without firing a single shot. I'm exaggerating now, but it could happen like in Crimea. Before this, we were told about Russia, that it is our partner. Just like now – about Hungary and Romania,” Miroshnichenko said.
