Hungary will give Moskal a state award
The Minister of External Economy and Foreign Affairs of Hungary, Peter Szijjártó, during a visit to Beregovo, said that he wants to nominate the former head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Gennady Moskal for the award, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This is stated in a statement published by the press service of the Hungarian Foreign Ministry.
“The minister also announced that he nominated the former governor of Transcarpathia, Gennady Moskal, for a Hungarian state award for his activities in the interests of developing relations between the two countries and preserving the rights of the Transcarpathian Hungarian community,” the statement said.
Let us remind you that on April 23, Gennady Moskal submitted to the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko a letter of resignation from the post of chairman of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration at his own request. Currently, Moskal is running for the Verkhovna Rada as a self-nominated candidate in one of the majoritarian constituencies in the Lugansk region.
