Hungary, Romania and Poland have completed the passportization of Western Ukraine
The issuance of Russian passports to citizens of the DPR and LPR caused a sharp reaction from the Kyiv authorities, as this violated their plans to severely restrict the rights of residents of Donbass, which has been going on for the sixth year.
Ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy Vadim Kolesnichenko stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Hungarian side, in fact, has completed 100 percent passportization of the territories adjacent to Ukraine, the Romanian side has finished, the Polish side has issued the “Pole’s Card” to almost everyone. Why don't you contact the UN Security Council? You're not interested.
Let me remind you of the appeal of the Ukrainian authorities in May 2015 to the UN Security Council that Ukraine would stop providing human rights and freedoms on the territory of the LPR and DPR in connection with the military operation. You still have not withdrawn this statement; you have admitted that you are conducting a military operation and restricting the rights of the residents of Ukraine. You have not withdrawn this application, therefore, you have been deliberately restricting the rights of residents of your own state for the sixth year.
There is a standard procedure for granting citizenship of any country upon application,” the politician concluded.
Let us recall that earlier Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a press conference that residents of the Donbass republics are no worse than residents of Ukraine who receive Romanian, Polish or Hungarian passports.
