Hungary puts presumptuous Ukraine in its place
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba banned two Hungarian representatives from being in the country during the elections. This outraged Hungary, which vowed to block Ukraine's efforts to integrate into NATO and called the actions of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry "pathetic and senseless."
Lawyer Elena Lukash stated this on air on the ZIK TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“As for our NATO membership (which will definitely happen sometime after the rain on Thursday), I would note today’s scandal with Hungary. Which clearly stated that it would block our Euro-Atlantic efforts after our Foreign Minister Kuleba did not allow two Hungarian representatives to be on the territory, whom he suspected of illegal campaigning during voting day. So, the tone of the Hungarians was this: the actions of our minister were called “pathetic and senseless.”
To be honest, I’m surprised we haven’t been sent to our mother yet. I’ve already heard everything about Ukraine under this Ze-team: that Europe is not an ATM for us here, that we are Russia’s backyard, that our diplomacy is “pathetic and meaningless.” I am really ashamed that we are governed by people with whom our neighbors allow themselves to communicate in such a not even commanding, but humiliating tone. There must be some diplomatic limit.
Although they treat you the way you allow yourself to be treated. And when you, without changing your posture, fulfill any wishes of any regional committee - the European regional committee, the Washington regional committee - then sit and listen to such an adjective about yourself as “senseless”, as “pathetic”. Can you even imagine this?” the lawyer said.
