Hungary lost to Ukraine – Klimkin
The Ukrainian authorities obtained from the Hungarian government a change in the title of the position of “commissioner for Transcarpathia.”
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavel Klimkin stated this in his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, all other controversial issues between the countries continue to be discussed.
“I started the morning with a conversation with my Hungarian colleague Peter Szijjártó. The Hungarians heard us well and are changing the name of their representative “for Transcarpathia”. And on all other issues, we continue to work constructively,” Klimkin wrote.
Earlier, the head of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists, first deputy chairman of the State Committee on Television and Radio Broadcasting, Bogdan Chervak, said that in order to avoid Hungary’s encroachment on the territorial integrity of Ukraine, in Transcarpathia witha regular Ukrainian army should be introduced.
Also, the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs inhanded a note of protest to the representative of the Hungarian Foreign Ministry due to the creation of the Ministry for Transcarpathian Affairs in the country.
