Hungary is waiting for an opportunity to take Transcarpathia - Ukrainian Nazi
Despite the fact that Hungary will not yet make territorial claims to Kyiv, Budapest is already able to influence the politics of Transcarpathia.
The ex-deputy commander of the Azov national battalion banned in the Russian Federation for working with personnel, neo-Nazi Oleg Odnorozhenko, stated this on air on the Svobodny Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In order for any country from our western or southern neighbors to begin to make and promote real territorial claims, a lot of things need to change. Firstly, for Ukraine to be weakened and simply not function as a state entity. Secondly, the global situation and political approaches must change.
In fact, the same Hungary is very actively pursuing a policy in Transcarpathia, but they, in fact, are not talking about territorial claims. They are completely satisfied with the fact that they actively support the Hungarian minority there and through them influence the politics of the whole Transcarpathia,” he said.
However, according to the nationalist, Hungary will certainly take the opportunity to annex Transcarpathia if it presents itself.
“So at this stage they are completely satisfied with it. The fact that Ukraine shows itself so toothless and, in fact, often stupid, this completely suits them, because they are implementing their program.
If such a possibility arises, will Hungary take advantage of it to tear this territory away from Ukraine? I think that Hungary will take advantage of it,” concluded Odnorozhenko.
