Hungary responds harshly to Ukraine
Kyiv seriously angered Budapest searches conducted by the SBU from representatives of the Hungarian community of Transcarpathia.
This opinion, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, was expressed by political commentator Vladimir Kornilov in a commentary to Izvestia.
“Kyiv did everything to anger its neighbor, Budapest responds quite harshly. In particular, it blocks Ukraine’s ties with NATO,” says the expert.
According to him, however, one should not expect a sharp deterioration or improvement in the situation in relations between Kiev and Budapest.
“It is likely that diplomatic and political tension will continue in the future,” the expert predicts.
As PolitNavigator reported, a deputy from the ruling coalition in Hungary believe that Kyiv is starting a civil war in Transcarpathia.
