“We were recently in Budapest as part of President Putin’s delegation. Our Hungarian colleagues expressed serious concern about the situation of the Hungarian minority in Transcarpathia. They said that this minority, in fact, survives solely thanks to humanitarian assistance from Hungary,” Lavrov said.
According to him, all requests from Budapest to Kyiv to do something through the Ukrainian government for its citizens of Hungarian origin have so far had no effect.
