Danilko boasted that during his performances he makes the audience stand up for the Ukrainian anthem.
“When they said: “Can you imagine if Klavdiya Shulzhenko came to occupied Minsk.” Don't confuse one with the other, don't confuse x... with a finger. This is not true, this is a completely unusual situation. Of course, I came, we rarely go there, unfortunately, but our people live there, I take part in the event, there are Russians, and Jews, and absolutely different people who are worried. And you’ll note that we always performed in embroidered shirts, even before these events. I swear to you, we tried to wear a different costume and I felt awkward. We once spoke at the beginning of these events, there were some politicians there, everyone ran, and we played the Ukrainian anthem, and they all stood up. And there was some kind of feeling of pride,” said Danilko.
