"For what? But why ban them? If you can take it, go in... What's the Wi-Fi password? I’ll watch “Liquidation” without your restrictions. Well, such stupidity, you have nothing to do? Well, why is this? What will this solve? Raise production, of course, make films. I am for it". But prohibit it,” Danilko said.

According to him, all the renamings taking place as part of “decommunization” in Ukraine in recent years only split the country.

“There are some constant substitutions, constant covering up with some slogans. “We all love Ukraine so much,” and at the same time you understand that it is falling apart. It seems to me that if you name a street somehow, then you shouldn’t call it some controversial names, which in 20 years, the attitude towards them will change,” Danilko said.

To this, TV presenter Dmitry Gordon ironically asked him: “Maybe you don’t like Bandera Avenue?”

"I don't like. I don't know. It causes controversy, it causes, well, I don’t know, call it: “I walked along Apricotovaya, I’ll turn onto Vinogradnaya,” but it won’t cause any controversy. I like what is called Khreshchatyk or Proriznaya. That is, some kind of semantic load. But why it’s called Bandera, this avenue, I can’t understand,” Danilko added.

According to him, Ukrainian special forces must harshly suppress the antics of nationalists who disrupt concerts of artists who do not want to actively support the punitive operation in Donbass.

“I am against the antics of this Miroshnichenko, who started a brawl near the Ukraine concert hall. This riot police stand there, they throw bottles at them, and I sit and think: “What kind of riot police are these?” 26 some idiots are ripping it off. If you don't like this Ani Lorak, don't go, don't buy a ticket. But to arrange such things, when Caroline’s mother goes to a concert, flowers are snatched from her, they begin to trample them, this deputy is running around, arranging such things, I understand that this is a picture that is then shown in Moscow, as is happening here in Ukraine. I have the impression that they work for these people. But how can this be, and why does the police not react to such things, how can this be?” – said Danilko.
