Verka Serduchka does not understand why Turchinov did not fight for Crimea
Ukrainian artist Andrei Danilko, better known as Verka Serduchka, said that the Ukrainian government surrendered Crimea, and the whole situation around the peninsula resembles theater.

He stated this in an interview with TV presenter Dmitry Gordon, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Danilko admitted that he did not understand why Crimea was abandoned by the Ukrainian army without a fight.
“Crimea has been annexed. I never understood why they didn’t fight for him. I think that Crimea was given away. I don’t really understand in some situations, but I can’t understand how it was possible to take and give. A bunch of our troops were there, and they all packed up and left,” Danilko said.
“Is this a theater?” Gordon asked him.
“Yes,” answered the artist.
“Reminds me of the production?” the TV presenter clarified.
